Michael S. Meade
Founder and CEO
Michael is the Founder and CEO of Lampost Capital, L.C. Michael is also the CEO and Chief Portfolio Manager of Lampost Financial, Inc., which manages the Lampost Blue Chip Fund, L.P., a hedge fund launched in 2002.
Prior to founding Lampost Capital, Michael was the Executive Vice President and co-founder of Fletcher Asset Management, a private investment firm specializing in quantitative trading and investment techniques. Michael has also held positions as Vice President of Kidder Peabody, Fuji Securities and Cantor Fitzgerald. Michael has also served as a development consultant with the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
Michael graduated from Harvard University, cum laude, in 1987 with an AB Degree in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Decision and Control. He is a President’s Council Donor to the Harvard College Fund and holds the lifetime position of Class Treasurer.
When not working, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, golfing and flying. As a commercially licensed pilot Michael takes pride in taking to the air on humanitarian Angel Flight missions transporting less fortunate patients to or from treatment centers.
Gregg Pollack
Vice President and CCO
Gregg joined Lampost Capital in 2001 and serves as its Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer.
Prior to joining the Firm, Gregg was a Nasdaq Market Maker responsible for retail and institutional trading on the equity trading desk at J W Genesis Securities. Before that, Gregg served as an Investor Representative for the online trading division of Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette (DLJ Direct) where he was responsible for account management of high net worth investor accounts. Gregg started his financial career as a retail broker in 1995 and holds the series 7, 24, 55 and 63 licenses.
Justin D. Hertzberg, Esq.
General Counsel
Justin joined Lampost Capital in 2010.
Prior to joining the firm, Justin worked for Integra FX, a currency hedge fund and brokerage firm, where he served as its In-house Counsel and Sr. Vice President of Business Development. Justin began his career as a commercial litigator with Broad and Cassel.
Justin graduated from Emory University, with honors, in 2003 with a BA in Philosophy and from the University Miami, cum laude, in 2007 with a JD/MBA. Justin holds the series 3, 7, 24, 34 and 55 licenses.
